One star is too many for this company! From the beginning there were already bulbs burned out, wiring issues and many other problems that took them WEEKS to come fix ! They require you to get your carpets professionally cleaned when you move out and the staff is just rude , lazy , and need to be put out of business. Renters be aware !
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are EXTREMELY rude to tenants. Also, they do not care about tenants safety. They attempted to allow a new tenant to move into our occupied house without allowing us consent on A STRANGER moving in and living amongst us and also refuesd to give us any background information on the new tenant. What if something happened to us? This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They are unhelpful, unprofessional and do not treat college-aged tenants as adults. They will treat you unfairly and do everything they can to make your life as a tenant harder. They should be shut down. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM YOU WILL HATE IT. We are moving out of this house because our house was managed by Clemson One Properties and now it is managed by Carolina Real Estate and we are moving AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WORST COMPANY IN CLEMSON
Terrible management. It took 2 months to fix the faucet and still waiting for the dishwasher. The lady at front desk is so rude and has no idea how to talk with tenants. Manager itself keep delaying your problems and also they have no idea what kind of lease you have so they once in a while call you and ask you to pay for something that you should not. It is crazy management really. Never ever get engage with this property
One star is too much. Renters beware. A single bulb that didn't work upon my move-in took them ONE MONTH to fix. And the VACATING process is horrible: I rented only for a year, taking over a lease from someone. Before I signed the lease, I asked specifically what I need to do to avoid being held responsible for a guy's 5-year lease. And they told me that I don't need to worry about getting it back unless I poke a hole in the wall. And a year later, just about to move out, they want the carpet to be professionally cleaned, and charge me and my roommate for the damage that was incurred throughout the 5 years by that guy. Absolutely outrageous. Will never rent again. And nor should you.
I can only give three stars as we have only been in the house for 6 weeks. Being an experienced home owner, renter and property manager ( a long time ago) I know the trials and tribulations that go into management. Everyone that we have dealt with has been pleasant and helpful. Do they respond to requests immediately? No, but I don't expect that. I know they are dealing with a LOT of rentals. Do I need them to change a light bulb? NO, I can do that myself. I am also not in the mid set that just because I am renting I don't have to take care of my home. Like I said, remains to be seen but so far so good.
