Great date place! Wonderful steak, but have never had anything bad here. Staff is super helpful and attentive.
We had an amazing dinner and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this place for an intimate dinner.
My favorite restaurant in Clemson hands down. Get the twin filets and you will leave very happy and full. For a more casual experience sit in the bar area which is first come first serve. Be sure to ask about the specials of the day because they are always amazing. Put it this way, when Clemson has high profile recruits in town, you can safely assume this is where they will be eating dinner. The trout is incredible too, but be SURE to get it fried....trust me on this one.
The Place
Our waitress was very friendly and nice but our service was a bit slow. We were a table of 5 so maybe that slowed it a bit. The value is fair but a little on the pricey side. Overall we had a very positive experience and would recommend you to dine here.
Very nice restraurant. Sometimes in a college town it’s difficult to find a restaurant that’s more than just quick fast food. But not in clemson! Calhoun Corners is the place to go. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and great food. Perfect location for small and large parties. (If you do have a large party I would definitely, definitely call ahead!!)
Very well rounded menu with many fish and seafood offerings as well as steaks, pork chops and chicken. Duck and vegetarian entrees are also available. We had a Scallops Provencal -
The Menu
Seared scallops crusted in Herbes de Provence, drizzled with parsley lemon butter and served with grilled asparagus and steamed rice pilaf and Baked Seafood Trio Shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat baked over rice in a Parmesan and roasted red pepper Chardonnay butter topped with broiled Havarti. These entrees were very good as were the ice infused Manhattans. Full disclosure I was driving so I had water with lemon but I did steal a taste of the Manhattan's being consumed at our table.
